Why Digital Composites and Group Photos May Not Be Available For Digital Sales
Protecting the privacy and safety of every student is our highest priority. For this reason, digital class composites and group photographs may not be offered when a parent or school has requested additional privacy protections. These images can include multiple minors alongside their full names and school, team, or class information—details that could identify a child and reveal where they attend school or regularly participate in activities. Once a digital group image is distributed, it can be copied, posted online, altered, or shared with people outside the school community without the knowledge or permission of the other families pictured. Because one parent cannot provide consent on behalf of every child in the image, we may limit certain group images to printed products. These decisions are made to reduce unauthorized sharing, respect individual family preferences, and place student safety ahead of convenience.
